The road trip lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes, offering spectacular views of the Albanian Alps and charming villages along the way. At 09:30, your boat ride begins across the crystal-clear waters of Komani Lake towards the Shala River. You’ll pass through majestic canyons, towering mountains, and emerald reflections, making this one of the most photogenic journeys in Albania.
By 10:45, you arrive at the Shala River, known as the “Thailand of Albania” for its turquoise water and untouched nature. You’ll have free time until 14:30 to swim, sunbathe on white pebble beaches, enjoy traditional food in local restaurants, or explore hidden trails. At 15:00, the return trip begins, with arrival back in Shkodra in the late afternoon.
