If you are looking for an unforgettable adventure in Albania, the Shala River Tour is the perfect choice. The journey starts every morning at 07:30 from Shkodra, right in front of Rozafa Hotel, where our comfortable transport awaits to take you to Komani Lake.
The ride lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes, offering spectacular views of the Albanian Alps and picturesque villages along the way.
At 09:30, we begin the boat ride from Komani Lake towards the Shala River. During the trip, you will pass through majestic canyons, crystal-clear waters, and towering mountains reflected in the lake. This segment is one of the most beautiful parts of the tour and is considered among the most photogenic experiences in Albania.
Around 10:45, we arrive at the Shala River, a destination known as the “Thailand of Albania” due to its emerald-green water and untouched nature. You will have free time until 15:00 to swim in the fresh, clear waters, relax on the white pebble beaches, enjoy traditional food in local restaurants, or explore the nearby trails.
At 15:00, we start the return boat trip to Komani, and at 16:00 we depart by road back to Shkodra, arriving in the late afternoon. This tour is perfect for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and photography enthusiasts.
🌊 Overnight at Shala River
Guests who wish to spend the night at Shala River can use the same tour ticket for the following day. Please inform us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements. Meals and accommodation at Shala River are not included in the ticket.
